Why and how we chose to garden this way and what we have to offer…
In an effort to curb our annual summer garden full of weeds, we stumbled on a video made by Charles Dowding. He gardens using no dig, and after reading and learning more about the style of gardening, we made the switch. We sold our tiller, brought in tons of compost, and the journey began. Since 2021 our garden has not been tilled and has no additives used other than compost and wood chips. We have since really delved into the no dig/ no till gardening and found so many other benefits other than a reduction in weeds. Growing healthy food is one of those primary benefits. Everything we grow, our family eats.
In the spring, we offer plant starts for sale. We try and start nearly everything we grow from seed and will have a wide variety available. Please contact us for any plants you might be in search of.
Starting typically in June, we will be at the Canton farmer’s market.
In addition, we will also be offering individual produce boxes. Similar to a CSA, but without the year commitment, you can pick and choose weeks to participate and will have much more choose in what you receive. As always, please contact us with questions. Thanks!
